In line with the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, we have not only secured the necessary certifications but have also put in place a series of proactive measures. We have developed an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Plan, which sets out comprehensive strategies for enhancing the sustainability of our operations.
We are committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and we work to achieve different objectives from three areas of influence: the Mediterranean, the city of Barcelona and Our People.
We encourage a corporate culture that centers around respect for the environment, identifying the best practices and sharing them with our stakeholders.

At Marina Port Vell, sustainability is defined by what we do. Beyond certifications, our management model is built on concrete actions that reduce environmental impact and ensure responsible operations, from introducing HVO eco-fuel at berth and implementing advanced refuelling systems that minimise risk, to investing in greener infrastructure such as electric mobility, bicycle facilities, solar panels and improved landscaping.
At the same time, we actively engage with our local environment, taking part in beach clean-ups and working closely with the Barceloneta neighbourhood on awareness and community initiatives. Our commitment extends beyond the marina through collaboration with local institutions and by promoting responsible practices among crew and partners. By focusing on visible, practical, and measurable actions, we ensure that our approach delivers real impact.
The marina has achieved the EMAS certificate, recognising our commitment to evaluating every area of our business with the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme. Each evaluation is an opportunity to reflect on our environmental commitment and make necessary improvements.
Our ISO 14001 accreditation is indicative of our high standards. We use practical systems and tools to manage our environmental responsibilities and prepare for future challenges.
This certification is a testament to our steadfast dedication to sustainability and responsible tourism practices. It serves as both a validation of our current initiatives and a catalyst for continued progress towards a more sustainable future.
