The marina has reached an agreement with Termopetroli, which will exclusively market all fuel supply services.
Marina Port Vell Barcelona, the leading superyacht marina in the Mediterranean, has launched a new pipeline fuel supply service that allows for a more efficient and flexible service to clients moored at the marina.
This new pipeline fuel supply system, envisaged in the marina’s investment plan, aims to reduce environmental contamination risks while enhancing safety, allowing refueling without the need to move to a loading dock or gas station. The marina has installed a 510-meter pipeline distribution network, enabling fuel supply directly at the mooring points via a pumping system. This system can load between 400 and 450 liters per minute, allowing you to fill the tank of a 60-meter superyacht (with a 100,000-liter capacity) in 4 hours, compared to 8 hours with a conventional pump.
This innovative service aligns with Marina Port Vell’s commitment to offering the most efficient and modern services on the market, while also enhancing the client experience. They can refuel at their mooring without the need to move, and the fuel supply time is halved. The new system minimizes the risk of environmental accidents and reduces CO2 emissions.
To provide this new service at the mooring points, Marina Port Vell has reached an agreement with Termopetroli, a leading company in the supply of fuels and lubricants for superyachts. Termopetroli will also offer the service at the gas station starting this November.
