Marina Port Vell at PYA Golf 2012

On June 1st, 2012, over one hundred golfers, organizers and volunteers gathered at the spectacularly scenic golf course La Grande Bastide, located above Antibes, France, to join in the annual Professional Yachting Association (PYA) Golf Tournament. Coming from as far away as UK, USA, Australia, and South Africa, leading yacht captains joined with local and international sponsors to enjoy sport and networking on the links. Representing Marina Port Vell and Salamanca Technical Services, Joan Gonzalez Marti played on the team of M/ Y Polar Star. Norma Trease of Salamanca Marine, a member of the PYA Governing Council – which represents over 2000 professional yacht captains and crewmembers worldwide – did duty as the official team photographer and later, as the Master of Ceremonies for the celebratory prize giving.

In September 2010, the marina was awarded certificates of Quality and Environment 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and EMAS III. Each marks our recognition of the importance of the environment to all of us.

És un codi internacional per a la protecció dels bucs i les instal·lacions portuàries promogut pel comitè de Seguretat Marítima de l’Organització Marítima Internacional (OMI).

Així mateix, gestiona la Declaració de Protecció Marítima entre les Embarcacions i la Instal·lació Portuària (Declaration of Security between a Ship and a Port Facility) a les embarcacions afectades pel codi ISPS que ho sol·licitin.

Des de l’any 2003, Marina Port Vell rep anualment la Bandera Blava per a ports esportius i platges, en reconeixement al compromís amb el medi ambient. El setembre del 2010, la marina va rebre els certificats de qualitat i medi ambient ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 i EMAS III.

Marina Port Vell tiene implantado el Plan de Protección con objeto de garantizar la aplicación del código ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security), en sus instalaciones en el Puerto de Barcelona. Código internacional para la protección de los buques y las instalaciones portuarias promovido por el Comité de Seguridad Marítima de la Organización Marítima Internacional (OMI).

Así mismo, gestiona las Declaración de Protección Marítima entre las embarcaciones y la Instalación Portuaria (Declaration of Security between a Ship and a Port Facility) a las embarcaciones afectadas por el Código ISPS y así lo soliciten.
