At Monaco Yacht Show 2011, Marina Port Vell held a press luncheon for associated press and industry professionals. During the press conference an exclusive CGI fly through of the new marina was unveiled as well as the new brand identity and website. Redevelopment work starts on the 15th November 2011, following the Barcelona Boat Show, with completion due in Autumn 2012. Marina development plans will provide berths from 10m to 180m with the highest demand expected in the 60m-90m range. 5 star concierge services, captain and crew amenities, well planned security arrangements and the most innovative marina technologies available will ensure facilities will meet the standards of owners, their guests and crew alike. The close proximity of MB92 and Pinmar —both Pepe García-Aubert, MB92, and Sean Ewing, Pinmar, were in attendance at the event—further cements Marina Port Vell’s appeal as a home port benefiting from the advantages of a world class nautical cluster.
