Marina Port Vell is being transformed. A significant investment in state-of-the-art infrastructure and new five-star services will position the marina as one of the leading superyacht destinations in the world.

Located in the heart of the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona - recently voted 'the world's top beach city' in 2011 by National Geographic - Marina Port Vell is already a destination of choice amongst many of the most discerning owners, captains, crew and guests. With completion scheduled from Autumn 2012, Marina Port Vell will boast 150 fully serviced berths for power and sail yachts and superyachts of up to 180 metres.

Working closely with current occupiers to minimise disruption of services during the construction process, this ambitious project will be accomplished via a series of carefully choreographed phases. A limited number of long-term superyacht berth leases will be offered for sale, for which reservations are being taken now.

Against the backdrop of one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Europe, Marina Port Vell will deliver the highest standard of service and security for our guests and their yachts.

Since 2003 Marina Port Vell has been a designated Blue Flag marina, in recognition of our commitment to the environment. In September 2010, the marina was awarded certificates of Quality and Environment 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and EMAS III. Each marks our recognition of the importance of the environment to all of us.

Marina Port Vell té implantat el pla de protecció per tal de garantir l’aplicació del codi ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security), a les seves instal·lacions del port de Barcelona. És un codi internacional per a la protecció dels bucs i les instal·lacions portuàries promogut pel comitè de Seguretat Marítima de l’Organització Marítima Internacional (OMI).

Així mateix, gestiona la Declaració de Protecció Marítima entre les Embarcacions i la Instal·lació Portuària (Declaration of Security between a Ship and a Port Facility) a les embarcacions afectades pel codi ISPS que ho sol·licitin.

La protecció i la conservació del medi ambient ha de ser la màxima prioritat de tots els que el gaudeixen, i hem de ser especialment sensibles amb el medi ambient marí. Des de l’any 2003, Marina Port Vell rep anualment la Bandera Blava per a ports esportius i platges, en reconeixement al compromís amb el medi ambient. Marina Port Vell tiene implantado el Plan de Protección con objeto de garantizar la aplicación del código ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security), en sus instalaciones en el Puerto de Barcelona. Código internacional para la protección de los buques y las instalaciones portuarias promovido por el Comité de Seguridad Marítima de la Organización Marítima Internacional (OMI).

Así mismo, gestiona las Declaración de Protección Marítima entre las embarcaciones y la Instalación Portuaria (Declaration of Security between a Ship and a Port Facility) a las embarcaciones afectadas por el Código ISPS y así lo soliciten.
